Individuals learn effective work habits, behaviors, and skills in supportive work environments while performing a variety of assembly, inspection, packaging, and collating tasks. Through these tasks individuals learn and refine competitive work skills.
Employment / Vocational Services are services designed to teach and reinforce concepts related to work including responsibility, attendance, task completion, problem solving, social interaction, motor skill development, and safety. Also, individuals learn to understand the meaning, value, and demands of work and to learn or reestablish work skills, attitudes, and behaviors. This training also helps the individual understand social skills needed to maintain employment.
