As a citizen of Clark County, you can foster the important work of the Housing Connection in at least three ways:

1. Support MRDD levies. The MRDD Board is a major provider of funds to HC. Clark County MRDD has established an enviable reputation for service to MRDD families coupled with creative and responsible management of public dollars.

2. Extend a welcome to our residents. Our MRDD tenants are good neighbors—proud of their homes and eager to be part of the community. If you live near one of our residences, get to know our people and make them feel welcome. Even a simple wave and a smile do much to assure them that they are indeed “at home.”

3. Donate to HC. Our current supply of houses does not meet the need in Clark County. Any dollars we receive go toward improving and maintaining the properties we hold or investing in new ones. We hold official status as a charitable corporation, so that donations to us are fully tax deductible.
