Meeting your vocational goals
Vocational Evaluation
TAC provides a comprehensive evaluation process to help assess your strengths and needs in areas specifically related to employment. During the evaluation, TAC will assess your vocational skills and abilities, as well as potential job interests and values. Our professional staff will prepare a detailed report to be use to explore long-term employment goals for you. Our team will then develop a plan based on these goals. Periodically, we can re-evaluate progress to make sure you are meeting your individualized goals.
Sheltered Employment
You can put your talents and skills to work at TAC’s production facility. Joining one of our work teams will allow you to earn a wage based upon your productivity. We offer industrial sewing, metal fabrication, light assembly, packaging and other subcontracted tasks at our production sites. TAC will help you improve your work skills and habits and increase your productivity all at your pace.
Job Training Program
You may be uncertain of your work skills and abilities, so training before entering the competitive labor market might be of value to you. TAC’s Job Training Program will allow you to experience all the demands and rewards of employment in a learning environment, providing you with entry-level work experience to help build your confidence.
Job Placement Services
If you are more interested in finding suitable supported work out in the community, we will help you build a profile of your work skills and interests and identify local employment opportunities. We will help you design a job search plan, provide coaching for job interviews, and offer support services for you after you land that new job.
