April 12, 2019, Springfield, OH – CEO Justin Debord of TAC – The Abilities Connection was named one of three finalists for the Wright State University’s Nonprofit Leadership Alliance’s 2019 Outstanding Nonprofit Leader Award earlier this week. At the awards ceremony on April 11, 2019 at Walnut Grove Country Club in Dayton, Ohio it was announced that Debord was the winner of this year’s award. This award was given to recognize the individual who has shown great leadership within their organization and has been nominated by community member who has been directly impacted by the service the leader has shown.

The Wright State University Nonprofit Leadership Alliance is an organization that helps develop nonprofit leaders through professional training and practical application of management competencies that empower students and benefit the community. The organization allows students the opportunity to become Certified Nonprofit Professionals before graduating.
TAC – The Abilities Connection was also one of three finalists for the NLA’s 2019 Outstanding Nonprofit Organization Award which honors a local nonprofit organization that has demonstrated the ability to mobilize community members, provide excellent services, and collaborate effectively to achieve their mission.
