March 22, 2020 – Due to the order of Governor DeWine, all Adult Day Services will be suspended all across Ohio beginning Monday, March 23, except where there are less than 10 people being served.
Therefore, TAC -The Abilities Connection will be temporarily suspending its services for people with developmental disabilities, including transportation to and from TAC, day services, and vocational habilitation after first shift. There will be no second shift on Monday, March 23rd. It is in the best interest of the individuals we serve for them to remain home during the threat of the COVID-19 virus.
We hope to reinstate services as soon as we are authorized and it is safe enough to do so. We will maintain communications with individuals, families, and caregivers throughout this period by way of our website, social media, etc.
Developmental Disabilities of Clark County has been in contact with Adult Day Service providers and HPC providers in an effort to help connect them with each other. Please contact your SSA if you have questions or need assistance.
If you have questions regarding TAC’s response to the COVID-19 virus, please contact our COVID-19 information hotline at 937-525-7441.
