July 15, 2019, Springfield, OH – Do you have a special needs family member who you want to make sure is financially protected? If so, Greg Darling, Executive Director of The Disability Foundation – a nonprofit supporting organization of The Dayton Foundation, will be making a presentation on Special Needs Pooled Trusts explaining how they came about and what they can do for your family.
Special Needs Pooled Trusts are a critical piece of financial planning for families with a disabled family member of any age. The Disability Foundation establishes trusts that can be used to enhance the lives of the person living with a disability while at the same time protecting their public benefits of Medicaid or Supplemental Security Income (SSI). Established under Social Security Administration (SSA) regulations, the trusts are not considered resources for the public need based benefits’ eligibility.
This presentation is open to the public and will be held at TAC – The Abilities Connection – 2160 Old Selma Rd Springfield, Ohio 45505 on Monday, July 15, 2019 at 5:00PM. Light refreshments will be provided. If you have any questions about this upcoming event, please contact Bridget Doane at 937.525.7441 or bdoane@tacind.com.
