According to the World Health Organization, people with disabilities are often left behind among their peers. They tend to have lower education achievements and higher rates of poverty than people without disabilities.
In Springfield, an organization devoted to helping people with disabilities achieve their full potential, has been making a difference for people throughout the Miami Valley since 1952 when parents of children with disabilities decided to open a school in Springfield. Today, The Abilities Connection (TAC) is helping people like Chad McKinster achieve his goals and support his family.
