TAC- The Abilities Connection has been a presence in the Clark County community for over sixty years. The mission of TAC is to employ, connect, and care for people with disabilities in the community setting of their choice. TAC has two other facilities in the Springfield Industrial Park.
“We are so happy to share this updated facility with our community. It significantly increases our ability to provide integrated vocational training opportunities to the individuals we serve,” says Bridget Doane, Director of Development. “We are also proud that this expansion will allow us to employ people who have traditionally faced barriers to their employment. These new positions will help to meet a need which is currently largely unmet in our area.”
From 3:00pm – 5:00pm an Open House will be held at 2130 Progress Drive with tours and refreshments. At 4:00pm the official Ribbon Cutting Ceremony will take place. This ceremony will culminate with the drawing of TAC’s Cash Connection Raffle prize winners. This event is free and open to the public.
