Kari was born and still resides in Springfield, Ohio with her husband of 14 years and their 2 children. At an early age, Kari enjoyed playing “school” with her younger brothers and it was here she found her passion for teaching. She graduated from Wright State University in 2005 with a BS in Early Childhood Education. Kari went on to teach preschool for a few years and even spent some time as a children’s librarian.
Kari began working at TAC in 2009 teaching continuing education classes to adults with disabilities. Over the next 10 years, Kari has used her talents to not only teach but to help develop and supervise a dynamic adult day program, Xplore, which serves over 50 individuals. In 2018, she was asked to use her expertise to help develop TAC Academy. She has developed lessons and activities straight from her years of experience that are designed to be adapted to any level. Kari is excited to have the opportunity to “Reach and Teach” individuals throughout the state through TAC Academy.
