Workforce Development

People with disabilities are twice as likely to be unemployed as people without, and often face discrimination, isolation, and an unwillingness of employers to adapt to their needs. Various Service Delivery Models to Meet Each Person’s Goals

  • Opportunities for Ohioans with Disabilities is a state agency that empowers individuals with disabilities through employment, disability determinations, and independence. TAC is proud to partner with OOD as an approved provider to help individuals obtain and maintain competitive employment. For more information on OOD or to self-refer for services, visit OOD website.
  • TAC partners with several local businesses to provide group employment sites. Individuals can work on-site at the local business, learning skills and performing tasks to build their knowledge and experience. TAC will provide a job coach for each group employment site, as well as on-site job coaching.
  • TAC also offers individuals the opportunity to work at local businesses individually. Job coaches are available to help individuals as needed.
